I'm researching World War I soldiers and sailors whose names appear on the WWI Memorial located on the Middletown Springs, VT, town green. Of those from our town/village who served in WWI only Moseley Hastings Gray was killed in action. I'd like to know more about the envelope you've posted and the comb and photo that were contained therein. Our Historical Society is planning a WWI exhibit for 2018. Linda Peavy
Hi Linda,
These items came to me in a batch of Middletown Springs old photos. Not sure where I did acquire them. Some day I may be able to sort through the remainder. I understand my family has ties to Middletown Springs. Not sure where I placed these items or if I still have them. Thought they were interesting since this young man was identified.
