Leroy T. Hills

This free-hand drawing on a scrap of paper, commemorating Leroy T. Hills, was found among some old papers. It appears to have had a photo in the center of the medal but I did not find it. I still have more papers to go through and hopefully we will find out what Leroy looked like.

Vermont Civil War Soldier

This young man is quite possibly a Vermont Civil War soldier. This old tintype was discovered among some vintage papers and letters from a local estate. No information was found with him to identify him but he may be from the East Wallingford, Vermont area. He could possibly be related to the families of Bourne, McCann or Graves, who have lived in this town for several generations. He sure was a handsome young fellow.

Any help identifying him or describing what he's wearing would be greatly appreciated.
